The Other Happiest Place on Earth

The other happiest place on Earth I recently found out is Sesame Place in Philadelphia. My child is currently obsessed with Elmo and the rest of the gang on Sesame Street so a trip there would make him the happiest ever! I can’t wait to see his expressions when he first sees the signs. It also allows us to celebrate his birthday early. Having a child definitely allows you to be a kid again so this is going to be fun for both Mr. Pancakes and I who grew up also watching Sesame Street! This also allows us to take a mini tour of Philly because I have never been but it’s going to be all about little man! I just hope the costumes don’t scare him too much after all he’s used to seeing Elmo small and flat…3D Elmo might be daunting but I hope he get over this soon!

Awww…this is going to be so awesome! Do take lots of pics and IF you can post his expression when he gets there, would love to see if…:-)

That is so exciting. I loved going to Sesame Street when I was younger!

We’re going to Sesame Place for Greyson’s 2nd birthday too!!

    • Greyson is going to LOVE it. My son took a minute to warm up to the big characters but by the end of the day he was singing and clapping walking through the park…it’s the best fun! Can’t wait to read all about it!

I seriously need to go there! Nia’s obsessed with Disney World (she saw me reading a blogger’s recap last year and won’t stop talking about it!), but recently saw a commercial for Sesame Place and asked to go. Legoland is another one she’s asked to go to – she LOVES her Legos. I’m thinking at next summer we’ll make it to Sesame Place with her and lil man since he’ll be one and probably into it too. It’s kinda like a Disney pre-cursor IMO. Have fun!

    • It was the best fun for all of us! Nia and little man will love it and it’s definitely less overwhelming than Disney I can imagine!! Legoland would be fun too…it’s really nice they have all these places the kids can go and have a great time!!
