Summer is one of those seasons filled with nostalgia. I am sure most people when they think of summer have some happy thoughts and fond memories! Usually happy moments during the summer include food (yummy treats), nice weather and awesome people. Summer breeds those happy feelings and yummy treats. And GoodHumor is bringing happy moments to people all over the country.
GoodHumor has decked out it’s very own bus with the Joy Squad and they have been touring around the East Coast to spread nothing but joy to different neighborhoods. They have already been to New York City, Philadelphia and now they are coming to Washington, DC during the weeks of August 4-22, 2015. And they have been spreading not only joy, but also treats and other surprising moments.
Starting August 11, 2015, the GoodHumor Joy Squad will be on Twitter (@GoodHumor) encouraging DC residents to participate in conversations and discussions in order to meet and greet them for amazing activities and surprises. What a fun way to spend a Summer day to enjoy cool and delicious treats.
Another fun aspect of GoodHumor welcoming you to their Joyhood is that they have joined with the Washington Nationals mascot to have these fun interactions with DC residents. And what a great fun photo opportunity for the kids and the kid in all of us. The Joy Squad will be located at two different spots in the DC area: Metro Center from 12 – 12:30 p.m. and Dupont Circle from 12:45 – 1:15 p.m. You just show up, interact with the Squad, enjoy the cool treats and find out about other surprises.
Summer is coming to an end and what a good way to enjoy the last moments of summer fun by joining GoodHumor and the Washington Nationals mascot. Good and yummy treats with some fun photo opps. Moments your little ones can write about when they return to school in a few weeks.
I love companies that do good for their customers. And the idea that they are spreading joy in different neighborhoods is just fantastic. Especially in these times when there is too many negative images in the media. It’s nice to see on social media and around our neighborhoods that companies are spreading joy all around. Goodness knows we need joy around us even more. Don’t forget to catch some joy and good treats through GoodHumor if you are in Washington, DC.
