Review: Softsoap Fragrant Foaming Collection Hand Soap

Disclaimer: Softsoap’s new Fragrant Foaming Collection Hand Soap Line was given to be by Colgate-Palmolive for review purposes. My family and I used the product for about a month and so all the opinions are mine and ours.

Just this past week, we went without washing dishes regularly.  I know pretty gross!! Life can get that busy sometimes and it definitely has been in my house.  So imagine the excitement that is brought to my life when I find something that brings joy to my household chores.  And that’s exactly how I felt when i received the new Softsoap fragrant foaming collection hand soap line.

Prior to using the Softsoap Fragrant Foaming Collection Hand Soap Line, i was using another brand and i have to say that i was pleasantly surprised by the softness and awesome smell.  I was lucky enough to try the three different fragrances and each of them awakened different parts of my senses.  And it pampered my hands and little man’s hands, that sometimes he used way too much of the hand soap.

There were three different fragrances that i tried: Jasmine and White Cotton, Whipped Cocoa Butter and Kitchen Citrus Bliss.  Each of the fragrances is great for the kitchen, master and the guest baths.  And each fragrance has colors that are bright and very festive.  Variations so that you can express your personal style and brighten up your home.

Jasmine and White Cotton: this smelled so good! Fresh scent of Jasmine and White Cotton.  It has an airy aroma and is very fresh and makes your hand wash sparkle, while lush foam gently purifies the skin.  One of the things that i LOVED about the brand is the foam…because the other hand soaps are too thick and make a mess, especially when you have a little boy in the house that LOVES to wash his hands and uses way too much soap.

Whipped Cocoa Butter: This hand soap has real cocoa butter extracts and it really does smell and feel like cocoa butter…so soft and gentle on my hands.  I used this in the bathroom because my little man washes his bands way too many times.  The whipped cocoa butter is decadent.  After each use of these soaps, you really do not need hand lotion, it is that soft.

My personal favorite because it made me happy is the Kitchen Citrus Bliss…the first time i used this soap, i was in heaven because it smelled so good.  This fragrance truly does awaken and brighten your home (check out the yellow and green colors); it has a crisp, sun-drenched scent that invigorates during every hand wash.  I continuously smell my hands after each usage.

Another aspect of the hand soap i really liked is how each fragrance soothes the skin while gently cleaning it.  It’s great for big and little hands.  The top of the hand soaps are big and flat too which makes it easy for little hands to use the pump.  And always, just enough soap comes out without leaving anything behind…the other hand soaps always seem to leave traces of liquid behind…which is annoying because you are always left to clean up.  As if there aren’t enough dishes to clean…who needs another area to clean?

Softsoap is available nationwide at Target, Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, Riteaid, Korger and other larger Food stores.  It’s inexpensive too, for only $2.49 (8fl oz.).   And they last a long time too.  The fact that it’s foam helps it to last a long time because you get the exact amount you need.

My little man loves using it and his word while he is lathering it in between his fingers is “slippery”, he LOVES the amount of bubbles it gives him.  And i love that he only uses a little bit to get the job done.

So the moral of the story is that my dishes may not always be done and my house always not clean (and you might be in the same boat) however it’s nice to have little things like hand soap in the house that brings you a lot of joy.  And that’s what Softsoap fragrant foaming collection hand soap line has done for me this past month.
