Longlazysunday: Week 8

Wowza today is the last Sunday of February 2014….I feel like time is flying by this year and I made a decision today NOT to waste it. This past weekend has been spent wanting and wishing for all the stuff I don’t have yet in my life instead of enjoying all the blessings I do have. If I am thankful for what I have now, how will God continue to give and trust me with more? In saying that, I have totally been neglecting Mr. Pancakes for all the wrong reasons and that’s not nice either. So I apologized today for being a terrible wife! Thank goodness we have a lifetime to make it up to each other, every time I screw up. Today’s longlazysunday events were truly lazy. I was too into my feelings to get myself and Baby Pancake together for church so we lounged around this morning. Attempted to take advantage of the great weather but Baby Pancaked fell asleep on the way to the park…that’s what he gets for resisting nap time! We managed to have some fun at the park nevertheless. It was a great day outdoors! We came home, ordered Chinese food for dinner, not the best idea because I feel nasty now….oh well , Baby Pancake refuses to wear his pyjama pants but at least I was able to get his hair twisted for the week, now we are lounging around: finishing up my blog post. Mr. Pancakes is visiting our church granny. We are almost ready to go to bed. One fun aspect of today was my new scarf, which I attempted to rock out!! And after I took my selfie of my scarf, I realized I have crows feet…yuck!! I decided though to focus on the fabulosity of the scarf and not the other stuff. The scarf totally made my longlazysunday. And of course watching Baby Pancakes attempting to hop and jump!!

Love your little guy’s hair! How often do you do it? How do you get him to sit still?

The scarf looks nice and dinner looks yummy. It is OK to stray from the norm every now and then. Chinese food isn’t always the healthiest but looks like you got your veggies in there so its not all bad :-).

Always nice to see your smiling face around these parts 🙂
