Longlazysunday: Week 36

So tomorrow begins a week of training back at school…so not ready to begin work but it’s enviable that the summer would come to an end! It’s definitely been an adventurous summer for many many reasons…some which I may share on here…so which I may not. But overall, it’s been a wonderful summer and I’m sad to be returning to such a structured life but I work better on structure and if I’m a happy mama then Baby Pancaked and Mr . Pancakes are happy too!!

Today has been a weird one…woke up excited the plan was to go do some last minute clothes shopping…went to my start my car and it wouldn’t start. The battery is not even a year old. Then called for roadside assistance and the company Geico called in my area didn’t show up. Needless to say…I’ve been a lot peeved!!! My whole day hasn’t been shot. Hopefully the new company they send over shows up and can start my car for me.

In the meantime, I’m trying to take my mind off my car troubles by finishing Clueless on Netflix, while Baby and Daddy Pancakes take a nap. I’ve decided to take a Sunday selfie from now on just to see how I change over the year!!  I don’t know about you but my face changes within the month so it would be great to have a year’s worth of pictures to see the transformation.

On another bright side, while waiting for the tow truck company, I captured a beautiful scene near our apartment. The sunlight through the trees made me feel God’s presence.

Anyway, hope your Sunday has been much better than mine!! Here’s to an even better Monday!!
