LongLazySunday: Happy Daddy’s Day!

Here is to anyone who is celebrating daddy’s day! I lost my daddy when I was young so I never got into the day. But I celebrate by speaking with him every single day. Plus i’m also His child so today and everyday is Father’s Day!

Today though i called my “pops”, Mr. Pancakes’ dad, to wish him well wishes for today and all year round! He has embraced me conpletely as his daughter and for this I am grateful. You see Mr. Pancakes is his father’s only child and so he has always been protective of his son. They have a fairly close relatioship. Initially he might have seen me as “a threat” but eventually he saw that I loved his son and wanted nothing but the best for him! Therefore, it was a pleasure for me to call him and tell him “happy father’s day!”.

As much as daddy’s day is special this year because I have a new earthly father, I cannot wait for Mr. Pancakes to be a daddy so I can join in all the Daddy’s Day celebrations like cards, balloons, cakes, cute/bad presents! He will be an awesome, fun, caring and thoughtful daddy! And I cannot wait for him to be a daddy to our future children (little Pancakes)!
