As part of a SVERVE campaign, I was asked by Kid Academy Company to review their apps. I was given access to the product and compensated. All the opinions are true and honest and unbiased. Baby Pancakes has been using the iPad for a really long time. And we’ve found that he has been enjoying them a great deal. He has been learning a lot, which has been helpful because while he is learning, it allows me to do some work and get things done around the house.
Therefore, i was SUPER excited when the opportunity came to use and review an exciting app from Kid Academy Company. Kids Academy is a creator of educational children’s mobile apps. With a name that has “kid” in it, i was inclined to think that they would be geared toward children. And when i was able to explore their company, i loved how they were made up of “like-minded people” who enjoyed bringing products to children 2-5years-old.
Kid Academy Company has many different apps for children and i was pleased to come across all the different options. From alphabets to letters, to familiar songs and characters and their mascot the owl in his graduation cap is the cutest ever!
Right now Baby Pancakes is ALL about alphabets and he was super excited to come across the ABC Games app. It was easy for him to manuver and he loves all the different animals and noises they made as they were going through the entire alphabets. Watching him go through the flashcards was fun to as a parent because it left me wondering which letter the animal was going to be.
It was also neat for me to learn that ABC Games was aligned to Kindergarten Reading Foundation skills of Common Core Standards. I know it’s early to think of kindergarten and common core standards BUT it’s definitely important to start early giving Baby Pancakes ALL the skills and knowledge he needs to help him. Overall, I would recommend this to other parents especially if you are looking for something that is fun, educational and right on target with school expectations.
