Hello Monday

I heard someone say they were trying to hide from Monday and i LOVED that because i thought, fortunately or unfortunately, Monday will find us all! This person’s response is one of the reasons why i started my Awesome Monday Motivation in 2014. Totally just came up with that right now.  But seriously, my mission, this year, is to help you think and believe and know that every Monday can be an awesome one!

You too can go without hiding from Monday.

Love the cement table in front of the chalkboard wall!

This weekend was spent just being lazy.  It was good to see friends on Saturday, we enjoyed the nice weather, went to the park and really missed not being near to my family.  If i did, Baby Pancakes could play with all his cousins and he would have such a great time with them.

This weekend, I also came to realize that it’s okay to be perfectly satisfied with where God has me because that could be His plan for my life.  I can’t predict where he wants to take me and as soon as i Additionally, if i miss these moments, they will forever be gone and i can’t have them back.  After all, life is a series of moments and i don’t want to miss any of them.

Question of the Day: What did you learn this weekend?

Make today (and every day) ridiculously #amazing. #SpreadTheLove #PlaceboEffect

Nice way to spend the weekend. Relaxing and hanging out with friends!
I learnt this weekend to think before I act when it comes to my hair. Apparently, I didn’t think it through when I decided to go natural! Now my hair is A LOT shorter (cut it to shoulder length) and I am not thrilled with it :-(. Will post about it later. Still too traumatized!

  2. I am one of those people who hide from Monday. I feel like I give my all at work Monday- Friday and I have the weekend to look forward to. Only the weekend goes by so dang fast I hide from Monday to try and get a few more minutes of weekend. And I am always very tired Monday morning so I hide to get a few minutes of extra sleep too!

    • i think i have given into Mondays….because it’s inevitable…i embrace it and go bring it on!! maybe it’s a psychological game i am playing with myself! if i take control of it, maybe it won’t control me sort of thing…wish i could do that with other areas of my life. good luck with the battle of the Mondays!! have a great week!

I learned that life is way to comfortable for me and must shake it up. I have fallen into a rut and the only way to get out of it is to something different.

    • when we shake things up is when we really start living…i read this quote recently that most of us just exist in this world and that’s no way to spend our lives!! Good luck Kita!!!

I learned that it’s OK to cry and accept when things aren’t going as planned.

Lately I see Monday as a new beginning. It is not as hard to accept Monday right now.

    • virtual hug lady…i’m always crying now or at least tearing up because Baby Pancakes is now taking off his own clothes before bath time…when did this happen!! i love your new attitude about monday being a new beginning!!
