Celebrating Fall

I woke up this morning and it was freezing…it’s about that time i turn my closet over.  And there are a few things that i want to add to my Fall collection.  I love fall fashion…the colors, the materials, the mix and match of items.  The boots, the coats, the scarfs.  The leaves.  Pumpkin Spice Latte PSL: yes i am one of those fanatics).

This year we are going to attempt to go apple picking with Baby Pancakes.  We will play in the leaves.  Enjoy some pumpkin and apple pies.  Enjoy the festivities of Halloween.  My Birthday.  Thanksgivings.  So much to look forward to this season.  Fall is just beautiful and awesome.

Fall adventures... going to put a few on the calendar tonight! #fall #beauty #colors #leaves #foliage #walks

Today’s post is dedicated to Fall and all the things i love about Fall.

1. Boots–my favorite boots ever no longer fit me since i had the baby.  I am still hoping that after i loose the baby weight..it will fit me again but i am not holding my breath.  Therefore, i am on the lookout for the perfect boots…yet again.  And they need to be brown leather riding boots.

Absolutely love this boot - Explore Outdoors Boots - Boots / Shoes $73.99

2. Jacket–i love a good Fall jacket.  I try to add one to my collection every year.  I LOVE jackets and coats.  And there always has to be a unique feature to it.  The collar, buttons, pockets has to be different.

Flared Fall Jacket - i love this color!

3. Scarf–i have over ten scarves but i need more.  I love a good scarf. It’s very European to wear scarves and that’s definitely one of my Fall and Winter staples.  The bigger the better.

4. Pumpkin Spice Latte–i used to be a Starbucks girl and then i realized it was too expensive every single day.  Now i only treat myself during the Fall with a venti pumpkin spice latte.  Although we have stocks in Starbucks, they are still pricey!

mmmmm! Fall only comes to FL in the form of a Pumpkin Spice Latte and the start of football season....lucky for us, we've got both @ the Courtyard!

Question of the Day: How do you celebrate Fall?

So excited for all our plans @Krystal Lee pinning right now on all fall related things is keeping me in a super good mood at work right now

fall stories around the fire, put on longsleeves, read a book under a tree, jump in leaves, wrap your hands around a hot mug, eat a caramel apple, be outdoors, feel crisp autumn breezes, roast marshmallows, carve a pumpkin, go on a hayride, hold hands and get cozy, wear a scarf, bake cookies and pies, take a drive just to look at leaves

  1. I love fall fashion. Jackets boots and scarves turn skinny jeans and a tank tops into fashion statements. Wish it could be fall weather all the way to March and skip winter. Ugh.

Oh I love the fall weather. With the exception of celebrating the Halloween Festivities, I am looking forward to enjoying all the activities you posted. It really is a beautiful time of year.

By the way, check out DSW. I got a pair of post baby riding leather boots from there. They are black though.

    • i used to love halloween for the candy…i don’t know if we are dressing Baby Pancakes up…but i do want some candy for myself. i have to and visit DSW…i haven’t been there in a while!

  3. McDonald’s has a pumpkin spice latte that is just as good and cheaper than Starbucks! I celebrate Fall through my cooking. I make a lot of stews, soups and chilies during the Fall and Winter.

  4. I always celebrate with a pumpkin latte or shake and take my little guy to the pumpkin patch. I love brown riding boots too. I hope you can eventually fit yours. My feet were never the same after my pregnancy, they grew half a size. I hear people say that your feet grow with each pregnancy, YIKES!

I am a PSL girl too. And like you, I had to cut it down. In the old days, I’d buy one a day! That’s like four bucks a day! To save money now, I either go to Dunkin Donuts for their Pumpkin or I go to Starbucks and order a regular coffee with a shot of pumpkin spice. Then I add cream and sugar and it tastes as good as its latte counterpart for half the price! I just miss the whipped cream.
And fall jackets are my obsession. Where is that one you show from?

    • i know that PSL can get expensive for sure. i am not even sure where the jacket is from…i saw it on Pinterest and loved it. i need to do a better job of citing my work!

  6. Darby Hawley says:

Seriously I am dying for some fall weather so I can celebrate with you in all of these ways (but especially with boots & scarves!). The past two days have been so unbearably hot in Houston! I’m going to live vicariously through you!

  7. The boots are the business, and I LOVE ME A PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE!!!

    Hooray for fall!

  8. Jeanne says:

Fall is my favorite season! I love driving around on “color tours” and taking pictures. I just love the first picture you posted!!

  9. Pegster says:

I swear I only love Fall for the boots :). Ok, not really, I actually love Fall. I don’t do anything to prepare but I love the boot wearing the most
