Bonding Over Sushi

One of the things about life is that time is always passing. My niece is 23years but I still have a picture in my wallet from when she was 4 years old, some experiences are frozen in time but what is never frozen is time. The fact that she is no longer a child reminds me to take moments to enjoy the journey of life because it passes by fast. I am glad we are becoming two people that have shared so much and yet have more to share. That little girl I used to dress up like a baby doll now inspires me to be better and to reach for greater heights. That little 4 year old is no longer a child but a a young adult that is filled with wisdom, courageous and knowledge and enthusiasm that inspires me to the core. Today we bonded over sushi and I have enjoyed spending time with her and getting to know her as an adult and I am forever grateful for the time together to allow us to create more experiences in this life.
